A H Peck Flooring

Got this company to apply the wooden floors in my kitchen a few years ago. After there was some damage to the floor, I asked them to advise on how to fix it. They said the floor would have to be totally sanded and restained by them to attempt to restore the original colour, which they couldn't guarantee 100%. This would have taken a number of days and cost several 000.

I asked if there was any other way that this could be repaired, even if it wasn't perfect. They said no. I managed to get hold of the name of the producer of the wooden floors (which AH Peck refused to provide me - presumably so they could get me to hand over 000s instead). This wood company told me that I could simply hand sand the small areas of damage and they apply a simple 3 step treatment which they sold me fo 40.

They were quite surprised that I had been told this by AH Peck as they said one of the key benefits of this kind of oil stained floor is that it can be easily repaired without full sanding. Above all, I'm disappointed that AH Peck wouldn't even tell me the name of the company that produced my own floors.

AH Peck did a really nice job on our floor, very fast and easy to communicate. They also kindly helped move furniture around and put it all back in place.

I have recently used AH Peck to sand and re lacquer my wood flooring at my apartment. I called in the first week of May, needing the job done by Tuesday 29th May. They were incredibly efficient on the phone sorting out potential availability and had a rep done to quote the next day. The job they did was tremendous and the floor looks so good. We were not sure what to do with our upstairs wooden floor, as it was very faded from the sun, the edging to the skirting boards didn't match the flooring and a repair had been done at some point that was really obvious. We hated our floor! AH Peck recommended we sand the floor, stain it, repair sections and replace the edging to the skirting boards.

They presented us with five different stain options and also the option to re-varnish. We went with a stain and the room has been totally transformed, we love our new floor and get compliments from all our visitors and tradesmen that have visited to do other works. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a top quality job.
