I used West End Carpets & Air Ducts Care to install new carpeting in 2 bedrooms of my condo. They did outstanding work! They were timely, responsive, courteous & their price came in hundreds of dollars below the others. Everything from start to finish was seamless. I strongly recommend them - skip the big box stores & go with these guys instead. You won't regret it!

Shop is great. Big selection of offcuts and new carpets to choose from. Excellent customer service from George. He took me through all the options. He even delivered the carpet personally when the driver wasn't available to make sure we had it in time for a party. He brought it in and arranged it just how we wanted. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend!

Terrible fitting Mismatched pattern We visited the store personally to see the carpet because leopard print is a pretty loud choice we really wanted to make sure it was done right. We were promised an 'expert' fitting and we were excited about our choice. I discussed our stair case - how we wanted the line down the middle just like the image on the website.
We were promised a beautiful job despite our stairs having a harsh corner. The fitter they sent admitted he had never fitted any animal print before, he wasnt told about the stairs. He mismatched the join in rhe bedroom - anyone can see you just follow the pattern- and the line down the stairs was wonky. When we complained they offered us just 200 off for the dodgy fitting, as furniture would cover the join in the bedroom and promised to have someone correct the stairs.
Specifically the four angled stairs of the curve. they sent the same guy?! He admits no one has told him what to do and that he's never even seen their website. I have to demonstrate with string how the line would need to angle to make the curve. He cant understand that he needs to start edging the line across higher up so only changed three of the four stairs promised. No professionalism or care taken. See photos- we definitely regret going with these guys they just sell false guarantees and take no pride in their work

I ordered a small piece of coir matting for my new front porch and wanted to have it fitted as I thought this company, who I have used several times before, would do a neater job than I would. I was told no preparation would be necessary - they would lay the matting straight onto the concrete. Having paid the whole amount upfront, weeks later I was still chasing them to fit the carpet. Eventually, they said they had a cancellation and a grumpy fitter turned up to do the job that afternoon.
When he left, I found he'd glued the carpet down even though the floor turned out to be uneven (even if he was not prepared to even out the floor with a levelling liquid, he could at least have asked me if I was happy about him glueing it down before doing so, which I most certainly wasn't). He had also cut the matting untidily round the edges (I could have done a neater job) and, to add insult to injury, he left the porch and hallway in a terrible mess - a reputable company would have hoovered up any debris.
He even got bad tempered when I asked nicely if he would be able to take away the small piece of matting they had fitted last time, mumbling something about me paying extra for that. I said not to bother so he dumped it on my drive. My husband rang the company the following day but they couldn't have cared less. The moral of this story is avoid them like the plague if your job isn't big enough for them to be bothered with.

If you want a company that is more than professional and is able to advise you on the best quality and colour to suit the area that you are carpeting look no further and go to West End Carpets. I found the expierance stress free and Michael G offered an excellent service and showed a truly excellent service. I will go no where else for my carpets and hopefully neither will you.

I'm not a particularly house proud person. I don't cook, clean or do anything. I am Lazy. I don't know carpet cleaner from tile cleaner. I force the parrot to wash dishes at times. I will say though West End Carpet rocks because they have a leopard carpet and a purple snake skin like carpet. They do loads of tiles here as well for all your gaudy Italian fantasies.
If you can rock a leopard carpet, you are either totally chaving it up or rocking a lush look. If your house can carry it off, you are beyond fabulous. I've got a leopard coat. Trashy or Snazzy? Hmm.
