I have engaged service of Jonathan Rea in 2 homes of ours in UK/ North London. His work is simply impeccable, more akin to an artist than a flooring contractor. To boot the floor is warm, easy to clean and immaculate. So much so we are contemplating using Jonathans services at a home in Cape Town. Head and shoulders above competitors. Are there any?!

For a product such as resin, you're not just buying the flooring but the person laying it. Jonathan and I built up a rapport quite early on. He was really helpful- his knowledge of the product ensured that we had a good finish at the end. He really gets to know you and makes suggestions that will work better long term- something that can be overlooked when you're renovating a house and are already overwhelmed! Jonathan and Steph worked tirelessly to get our floor in and finished promptly.

We were kept regularly updated on the works with photos, which was exciting to see. It's been a year since we had it laid and it's one of the best parts of the house- easy to clean and maintain and beautiful to look at. Would definitely recommend Chasing Space for residential resin laying.

This is the second floor we have had completed by Jon and Steph, and it didn't disappoint! the floor is amazing and the workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. Jon and Steph's work ethic, integrity and pride in their work is evident in the finished floor and we would recommend them to anybody.

They did site visits when then said they would, started when then said they would, and took the amount of time they said they would. They even went above in beyond in flattening our uneven floor.

They did all this in a very warm and professional manner and always made sure they explained every step. We will be certainly be using in future homes, for most probably the entire downstairs rather than just one room. If you are looking for a resin floor look nowhere else. Jonathan (Director/owner) has followed my girlfriend and I very first floor instalment. There is nothing he has promised and not fulfilled. We wanted a hard wearing and contemporary looking floor for our new house, we were undecided on resin, and after much searching we found Jonathan who we felt immediately comfortable with as he very down to earth and very forthcoming with practical advice about the floor. He was also very patient whilst we were selecting the right colour and the delays we were facing during our build. Jonathan was able to provide us with references quite easily (which is a good sign).

The floor was installed in Aug/Sept and we found Jonathan very reliable, polite and flexible during the whole process. The floor looks amazing but we had to cover it straight away to carry on with building work. After uncovering it a few months later, the floor sustained some damages from the building work and it was refreshing to experience Jonathans willingness to inspect and fix it for us.

He could have charged us a high rate, but was very honest with the fact that he had some material left over which he could use, so the fee would be nominal. There is genuine passion and pride in his work. If there were more people like this, building houses would actually be an enjoyable experience! Thanks to Jonathan and his team for a more than satisfactory service and product!
