Established in 2004, we are an independent family-run business, catering for all types of budget, and are not restricted to a range of products.
Natural wood flooring is elegant, timeless and unique. There is nothing quite like the character of real wood since no two planks are ever the same. Wood flooring has transformed interior spaces for centuries, and can be crafted into a range of colours and finishes to suit any space, making it versatile as well as naturally beautiful.
When it comes to flooring materials, none is more luxurious and elegant than natural stone. The term 'natural stone' refers to a variety of mountain-born mineral substances that are hard to match with any imitation or manufactured stone products. Common natural stone flooring includes slate, marble, limestone, travertine, granite, and sandstone - each of which has slightly different properties.
Wood and Stone Ltd supply and install a huge range of porcelain floors. From small mosaics and brick effect tiles to standard 300mm x 600mm / 600mm x 600mm sized tiles, right up to larger format 800mm x 800mm matt or polished tiles for large open plan areas. Our porcelain tiles come in matt and polished finishes as well as contemporary square edged tiles or distressed and tumbled porcelains which have the appearance and texture of natural limestone, marbles and travertine.

Excellent quality and friendly service. We agonised for years about replacing a moth eaten carpet in the living room with a wooden floor. After a lot of research we finished up with Wood & Stone, and with their help we chose Brooks P2002 prime oak floor for the entrance hall and living room. We then extended it to include the adjacent dining room, and then also the study, so we now have a large continuous floor with no thresholds between these rooms. We are delighted with the end result.

We are so pleased that we chose Wood & Stone to replace our old carpets with wood flooring throughout. The results have been spectacular! Duncan helped us choose the right products and was friendly and approachable all through the process as we tried out various samples. His expertise was much appreciated. Wood and Stone have just finished a porcelain floor in the kitchen and hall. It is stunning. Great attention to detail and finish. They have completed a number of flooring jobs for us over the years fitting oak flooring to three bedrooms and a lounge and refurbishment of an original 1960s parquet floor. Every job has been undertaken with the same professionalism and attention to quality of finish. These guys know flooring!

Wood and Stone have recently supplied our gorgeous limestone floor. We are delighted with the product. The price was competitive, and we really appreciated the time and patience the owners took helping us make the decision (not helped because they have such a good range to choose from). It's was helpful to be able to takeaway sample slabs rather than just little offcuts.
