Avoid avoid avoid! Bad experience from start to the end: pushy on signing a long contract, sander coming to your house with no manners and lacquering rubbish on top of the board, dust free promise will result on rooms on other floors with sanding dust. And if you try to complain don't waste your time with the appalling customer service, very well trained on the broken record technique.

The sander spilled the coffee on the windowsill, thrown the cup on the back garden, left a black mark on the newly painted wall and they said it was the decorator's fault. The decorator painted the room one month before the floor was sanded; instead of apologising they will make up lies. Read carefully the contract: it will justify people working in your home and using the toilet without asking and leaving rubbish bags full of dust outside the rubbish bin. You won't save any money as you'll have to pay for someone else to fix the poor standards work.

Was redecorating a room and realised the carpets were beyond repair. Hastily phoned around to get a woodfloor team on the Friday afternoon and got lucky with a cancellation which meant they could start the job on the Monday. Wow, absolutely brilliant service all the way through. Quotation and job arrangement nice and easy over email and the fitters duly turned up on the Monday.

Two day job was quoted and executed beyond my expectation. Very old pine boards that had been under carpet for a long time, came up as good as new after sanding, staining and laquer they are absolutely stunning. Bobby has just done the most amazing job. I can't rate highly enough.

I contacted Floor Sanding Experts to sand, restrain and varnish my wood floors on the ground floor as well as fix my stairs. They were able to set up the job quickly; however, what should've been a few days ended up taking a week as there was more to do than expected (old house). The company was communicative and Ivan did a great job. I'm so please with the finished job and would recommend them to others.

The feet on our bed badly scratched our dark wooden floor, so we looked around and found this company. The operative who came out to restore the floor, Chris, was superb. He carefully assessed the damage and then ran through the various options we had to repair the wood, clearly setting out the pros and cons of each. His advice was actually to go for the most simple, least expensive solution, which was very honest and appreciated.

He did a fantastic job and now the scratches, which were very bad, are barely visible. Furthermore, Chris was a really nice, pleasant guy. I would definitely recommend this company and Chris.

I am extremely happy with the work that has been carried out on my floors. Stefan and Peter were professional and worked very hard to ensure the work was completed on time. They took time to ensure I was happy with decisions about stain colour and finish. They clearly cared about the work they were doing. There was very little dust, and they cleaned up and kept my flat as tidy as possible while the work was going on. The floors look fantastic. Thank you very much!

I have thought a lot about writing this review but feel as a consumer it is good to share feedback. We had our floors done back in January, the living room was done to our satisfaction however the kitchen was done to a very poor quality. My partner was here and when it was sanded and he was asked if he was happy, without giving it a proper look he said yes, he did not see the finished varnished work as the door was closed when the team left.

When I got home that evening I hada good look and was very disappointed with the work done - I phoned the next day and then sent photos and details as requested. I received no response. I followed up, I got a standard response and then started a month or so of correspondence with the team at Floor Sanding Experts. Despite the delay in follow up from them, my gripe is that I was told that the kitchen floor was in poorer condition that the lounge (I acknowledged it was) and that the work was done as best as they could.

This still didn't explain the dark stains, the patchy varnish and different colour to the lounge. I told them when we were home so they could come and have a look, I followed up and I asked several times for someone to come back so that I could show them the work. I advised several times that I just wanted the work redone. They refused to come, they said the work was perfect from their side and that I was wrong.

This is probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. We did end up getting a more that satisfactory discount however this left a sour taste in my mouth as I all I wanted, as a customer, was to feel that what I was saying was respected, valued and acknowledged. If you do use them I would suggest a few things, getting someone to come to the house before the work starts (this did not happen with us, everything was done via email before and after), I would highly recommend checking the work thoroughly before anyone leaves, and I would insist you do not pay up front.

Excellent service. Quick to quote and re-quote. Christopher [our guy] arrived each day on time and really put the hours in to make sure the job was done on time - staying later to makes sure he got oil applied on one floor and a 2nd coat of lacquer on another. Very tidy workers who were very careful not to damage skirting and radiator valves. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had our lounge dining room and hallway done. Nick and work mate were amazing! Polite and moved all the furniture with great care. Very tidy as they worked. I would recommend Floor Sanding Experts to a friend. They were professional, courteous and efficient throughout the process. They arranged for an on-site quote very quickly, a date for the work was arranged promptly and I had two telephone calls to confirm arrangements. The operative Ivan was a perfectionist. He made a floor that had been damaged and worn over 20 years use - 10 of those with dogs inflicting real wear on the floor - look like new.

There was a small problem not of his causing and after one email to the office Ivan returned on a Sunday to fix it. He was very polite and professional on both visits and a credit to the business.

I would highly recommend the Floor Sanding Experts, they're professional, quick, and the job was done to a very high standard. We dealt with Tom on the phone, who was friendly, efficient and very ready to help. I even phoned one evening at 8pm and my call was answered! Nick, who did the work, is great and you can see the pride he takes in his work.

He advised us along the way, ensuring that we were happy with the finish choices. He even left some samples of stain and lacquer for some edging that we need to fit between the wooden floor and the stone floor in the kitchen. Our floor is stunning, we are thrilled with it and have booked them back in to do upstairs too. They work above and beyond, providing an excellent service.

The crew completing the re-sanding, colouring & sealing of the floors at 1 New Bond St did fantastic work to a high standard, completed areas as per the schedule set out, & would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone asking. I will also look to them for any future work that is required at the Ralph Lauren stores that I am responsible to maintain.
