Strength
Although extremely tough, resin floors are flexible under stress. This gives good impact thermal shock resistance. Their compressive strength is far greater than concrete and their ability to dissipate stress can increase the load bearing limit of the concrete underneath.
Hygienic with low maintenance costs
A resin system forms a seamless, impervious and easily cleaned floor surface that will not harbour bacteria. Inert properties mean that it does not taint, can be steam cleaned (heavy duty) and is resistant to cleaning chemicals. Ease of cleaning and longevity of resin systems can substantially reduce maintenance costs.
Chemical resistant
Resin systems are resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents, oil and petrol. Seamless and impervious, they will also prevent chemical spillages attacking the concrete beneath.
Attractive and safe
Resin systems are available in a wide range of colours including decorative quartz and flake systems. Different profiles, produced by using graded aggregates, are available to provide a high degree of slip resistance in wet and greasy environments.
Flexibility
Apart from the host of benefits offered by a resin floor, if you have an unprotected concrete floor you could run the risk of expensive repair or replacement at a later date. A simple treatment with a resin seal will greatly extend the working life of the concrete floor. Increased protection comes from the use of medium or heavy duty systems, which actually strengthen and protect the concrete against such stresses as point loading and abrasion.

The wide range of colour shades give a great alternative to existing products on the market e. g. paving, tarmac, loose gravel etc. This can be bonded onto existing surfaces and gives a un-broken finish that is completely seamless. The resins are resistant to petrol or oil spills and will not fade or discolour as they are UV resistant also with the product being porous it allows water to drain through in the substrate, this prevents any puddling occurring.

Enhanced protection can be added with chemical resistant floor seal coats, antistatic surface treatments and textured flint aggregates which are thrown into the resin material to build up a non-slip floor coating. Great service and price, Lee even came back straight away to repair a ding I stupidly did when I dropped something heavy from ceiling height when getting it down from the rafters. Lee (the owner of Bright Flooring Solutions) is an intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced flooring contractor. He initially came out on site and gave really good advice on the pro's and cons of different flooring solutions. He started and finished the flooring job exactly when he said he would and the result was superb. It has transformed our garage space. I don't often take the trouble to write these reviews, but I would certainly recommend Bright Flooring Solutions if you are looking at any type of resin flooring.

Building a snug and utility room with a shower & toilet, we wanted a resin floor for practicality, ease of cleaning, etc. After much research (and a couple of futile visits from other time-wasting flooring companies) Lee of Bright Flooring Solutions came and discussed what we were after, confirmed what could be done and what preparation was needed.

Has a floor previously done by someone else which wasn’t as great as expected so I called Lee from Bright flooring and had him quote to go over the floor and to carry the same seamless floor out into a hallway and extension. I was a little worried about a liquid poured floor due to the extension has already been decorated and skirting etc. My concerns were over nothing! Lee done a fantastic job at protecting everything that didn’t involve the floor - no one single splash up a wall, nothing!
The attention to detail is spot on, the floor is completely level and smooth and a lot of pride was taken into his work. Their work has exceeded my expectations and his price was better than previous quotes. I cannot physically fault a single thing. Will defiantly recommend! Many thanks Lee
