I would highly recommend the Wood Floor Company. The advice and communication from Sarah at the start and throughout was excellent. We were clear on the plan and the installation went really smoothly. The team were very respectful of our home and the house was left clean and tidy at the end of every day. I would go as far to say they are the most professional company we have had in our home, which was very refreshing. We are delighted with the final result. Thank you Sarah and Team.

Can't fault anything with the installation. Sarah was patient and professional as we changed our mind on the product. The fitting team, Andrew, John and Peter were helpful, punctual and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. If the floor over time matches the team who installed it we'll be delighted. No hesitation in recommending them.

From the initial communication, Sarah was exceedingly patient and helpful, very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. The ordering process was seamless and without issue. The fitters arrived on time, we're very professional, clean, tidy and polite. The quality and fit is outstanding, price was relative / fair compared to quality, you get what you pay for.

Everything was explained end to end. I would highly recommend this company. I have already recommended to friends and family and will continue to do so. I have a further order in the pipeline.

I paid my 50 for the required consultation and assessment of our floor in the lounge. If somewhat reluctantly. The quotes came back as 8560.00 without "one line brick bond border" for our first selected wood and pattern or 9185.00 with, and 8890.00 without "one line brick bond border" for our second choice, or 9185.00 with. There was no mention of the promised deduction of the 50 consultation fee, either verbally or in the written estimate.

The "design studio" for us consisted of viewing samples from the van. We were not offered any virtual images of what these would look like in our home. The photos of previous work were not sent within the time scale promised. We did not like the idea of having to pay for materials a month in advance of the work or the use of Mdf stuck to our original skirting boards as a way of finishing the floor at the perimeter.

I feel this price is extortionate. A price that has completely put me off engaging the firm. I am wondering if this was an over estimate expressly designed to do so. 50 is a decent sum of money, surely I am not the only customer to decline. I very much regret my decision.

Great company. From initial meetings to installation everything was very professional. Sarah was most helpful getting everything arranged then the fitters Andrew and John did a great job. They were punctual and hard working. The flooring is very well fitted and when they finished everything was cleaned and tidied. We are very happy and can recommend this company.

We were extremely happy with the service that The Wood Floor Company provided. The speed in which they reacted to our problem was outstanding and the communication received from Sarah during the whole process made everything run smoothly. The guys that corrected the problem with our floor were brilliant and explained everything throughout! I would not hesitate to recommend the company!

From the outset visiting the store for a browse the team were very professional, got booked in for a home visit to discuss options, Tom and Sarah gave us a few different options on what was possible in our home including refurbish and renew. In the end we went for a refurbish of some 1940s oak parquet, it was uplifted, floors screeds put down to get rid of 4 different floor levels.

The parquet was taken away and cleaned then relaid sanded and polished in a totally different area of the house. The end result is amazing. The team were polite and professional from start to finish. Thanks guys. Look forward to using you again in the future.

I will definitely use this company again. Firstly: They were very knowledgeable in helping my find the right wood for the floor and narrowed the choices down to two in the end which made choosing easier. Then: Their organisational skill were second to none. The Wood Floor Comp kept in tough and we always knew exactly what was happening and when and we were given a payment plan so we know exactly at each step when payment was due.

Very impressive. Also. The installer (Scott) was well equipped, knew what he was doing, got on with the job and at the end tidied everything up and left me with a beautiful new floor. And lastly but most importantly a wonderful floor. which were are very happy with.

Everything went really well from the moment we first entered the showroom in Darlington to the point when the fitter left our house with the floor fitted. The advice during buying was well focussed and balanced to our needs, the product we decided upon is excellent and I cannot express enough praise to Scott, the young man who fitted the floor. In fact the skirting board is better fitted now than when we moved into the new built house 9 months ago after Scott removed it to fit the floor and replaced after fitting. Excellent

Quick easy painless, excellent choice of flooring, different options given to reduce costs but improve wear. Fitter helped move furniture in and back again. Very clean and tidy when working in the house and made sure all the packaging and waste was removed. Overall will us the Wood Flooring Company again.

Very happy with everything. Dean and Peter who came to do the floors were very polite, pleasant and professional and did an absolutely excellent job which, in fact, surpassed my expectations. Also moved the furniture I couldn't move and put everything back once they had cleaned up any dust etc. I would definitely recommend the Wood Floor Company in Darlington to everybody.
