JG Flooring offer a surveying and quotation service FREE of charge. This service involves an experienced floor fitter viewing the area, correctly assessing and measuring the space. This establishes any preparation work required and enables them to advise you, the customer on the best possible products and installation methods.
For the best finish, we recommend removing the skirting prior to fitting the laminate flooring, or any type of flooring due to it giving the overall finish, a flush, seamless effect. Although it is easier said than done, as some skirting can be quite tricky to remove, especially if it has been on a while and it has been screwed to the wall.
JG Flooring cover most of the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire areas. Jamie and team were fantastic from beginning to end. We wanted some 70's style parquet flooring in a basket weave/mosaic pattern. Not a common request these days. We had a very clear and informative chat about the limited options we had. All of our questions were answered, regarding the extra care and maintenance of solid wood flooring so we decided there and then to go ahead with the work.
The sub floor was leveled, waterproofed and the solid wood flooring fitted and finished on schedule and to quote. The communication, professionalism and friendliness were second to none and the end result, simply stunning and exactly what we had been searching for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JG Flooring to others and also wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future work we require.

Jamie, with his cousins help completed our lounge and hall flooring with professionalism and high quality. A personable man I found friendly, knowledgeable and a perfectionist. Not only did he overcome some problems the original house builder had left but he did these with consumate skill. The finished job looks superb and was completed in the time he estimated.
We are so pleased with the job that we are going to have the cloakroom done as well; just wish we'd thought of that in the first place! They even moved some heavy furniture for us. I can thoroughly recommend this business.

From response to my call to cleaning up after completion, Jamie and his team gave excellent service - discussed options and came up with a very good and cheaper alternative to the very expensive timber that I had in mind. There was care in preparation - and some boards were rejected. Good communication so I felt confident to leave them on the job when I had to go away for a couple of days. Inevitably, there is mess, but they kept job clean and tidy. I am really very pleased with the result - worth every penny!

Jamie and Kev had a mammoth task to remove our old slate tiles and lay a floor in our kitchen, utility and dining area. It was probably one of the hardest jobs they've had in a long time but they were hardworking, clean and good humoured at all times. The result is fantastic, we are really pleased. The decorators that followed them in to repaint the walls etc even commented on the quality of their workmanship and their attention to detail in all the fiddly corners of kitchen. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering this type of floor.

We have just had the sitting room floor in our cottage re-laid by Jamie. He helped us from the outset with the choice of materials and we are delighted with the final choice. His help and advice we found to be invaluable and we cannot thank him enough. With regard to the fitting of the floor we are extremely happy with Jamie's (and his mate Kevin) work - they were very polite, professional and hard workers and the finished article was second to none - we live in a 150+ year old cottage with no straight walls to work with but Jamie persevered and achieved an excellent result. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Jamie supplied and fitted an engineered oak floor in our snug recently and we couldn't have been happier. The finished result is beautiful and his service throughout was fantastic. We had a few challenges with other trades but these were not an issue and Jamie was happy to advise and accommodate a shift in timings. Highly recommend if you want a floor that will stand the test of time.

Jamie and his team have restored our old parquet flooring. From smashing out the old concrete fireplace hearth, they then used blocks from under the stairs to match up the floor like new. You can't even spot the difference. I would highly recommend the service he has provided and Richard and Carl the fitters where brilliant and ensured we had a great finish with all of our questions answered and explained.

Jamie has produced a fantastic new floor for us which flows seamlessly through hall, lounge and dining room. Jamie completed the work well within timescales arriving at agreed times and worked tirelessly, thank you for the help putting the furniture back in place 🙂. There was a minor issue with the grain in one of the planks which Jamie dealt with. I would recommend him for his professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, time keeping and a job well done.

Jamie did what he promised to do and delivered what I wanted perfectly. The floor looks great and he did the extras he promised at no charge. He even hoovered everything up at the end and as i am in a flat and the mess was in the communal areas saved any complaints from neighbours!! Good guy, great service

Jamie was so helpful especially as I’m extremely indecisive but talked me through all the options on the initial consultation and then sent over brilliant computer designed images to show how they’d look in a similar room as mine. When you have a 300 yr old house with original elm floors upstairs, it's hard to know what is going to work downstairs especially when the concrete base is very wonky. Jamie and his team sourced reclaimed oak blocks, levelled the floor, and installed a beautiful herringbone pattern. It looks fabulous, and - importantly - fits the aesthetic of the house beautifullly.
