Welcome to our website, we hope the following pages give you a clear and informative insight into our company and the services we provide. Here at Diamond Flooring we pride ourselves on our friendly approach, reliability and quality of work. We offer a full in house programme, from an initial flooring enquiry through to on site surveys and final installation.
Diamond Flooring was established in 1989 by Denver & Joanna Thornton from fairly small beginnings, working from their home in Bolton. The original driving force behind the infancy of the company was the imminent arrival of the couple's first child which focused the mind on a need to provide! Drawing on Denver's family history in the flooring trade spanning three generations, the company quickly grew to employing a small number of staff & vehicles, so that within the first 2 years of trading, premises were obtained on Tonge Moor Rd in Bolton, featuring a showroom, small warehouse & office.
Denver started the business 24 years ago, having previously worked for his Father from leaving school. After attending CITB training course in Salford he wanted to establish his own company based upon his skills learnt over 8 years in the trade. His role is now involved in many aspects of the company, including health & safety (NEBOSH Level 2 Attainment in Occupational H & S) estimating, contract planning, marketing, personnel, technical & company policy decisions.His hands on approach & experience in every aspect of the business provides the skills & know how which set the company apart in being able to adapt quickly to the needs of the client & end users.
As a family run company we can be very clear about the direction & policies we believe provide the best service for our clients. As an established company of over 25 years we have a proven record in consistently delivering a service that prides itself on quality, whether the clients are a PLC company employing us on large development scheme or a smaller domestic contract, we believe everyone should receive the same attention to detail regarding the end product.

Diamond have recently installed Polysafe Hydro flooring to my husbands new wet room. From start to finish their service has been professional and excellent. All personnel have been wonderful and the standard of installation is absolutely magnificent. Our genuine thanks to all at Diamond and for the extra consideration given to our circumstances (ie my husband is an amputee)

Top company! SAMS is part of a Not for Profit organisation at the Energy Zone in Blackburn with limited funding. We recently needed a few carpet tiles replacing, Diamond Flooring have worked for us before and this was very kindly agreed to be done as a favour. Wayne was fantastic and completed our whole reception area instead of just patching up. As always, a brilliant job & great service! Thanks

A Complete Joke! The rep came out to give us a quote for Amtico flooring and find a match /quote for our wooden floor of which they fitted originally 8 years ago. I was told I'd have a quote within a week. This didn't happen. I chased it up and was told he would be in touch which he wasn't, which I chased up again and again told me I'd have it that day.
I left it and few days and tried again and was told a match had been found and they would email tomorrow with the quote. A week on nothing so I phoned one final time and when the rep was phoned he decided he hadn't found a match after all. Nice for them to let me know. Needless to say I won't be taking them up on the Amtico quote. A complete joke!

I have nothing positive to stay about this company. I would not recommend or use them again. They did a sub standard job and took months to come and repair it. Then had the audacity to charge a call out fee to fix the repair whilst at the same time repairing a section of damaged flooring (our fault damage). When the fee for the repair was challenged (in that I asked for a breakdown), the Director Denver started to shout at me down the phone and was rude to me. He would not provide a breakdown.

What a bunch of time wasters! The rep came round the house to provide a quotation for Karndean flooring and 1 week later a lady called up to follow up the quote and place an order. We had not had the quote so she said she would email the rep. After another 4 days we chased the quote and she said she would phone the rep.nothing happened. We chased again after another couple of days and she said she would email the rep.
We told her that if we had not had the quote by the end of that day then not to bother. Guess What?.They didn't bother! This is an insurance claim so guaranteed business for a flooring company. What an idiot!
